Conservative columnist Robert Novak has this op-ed in today’s Washington Post whereby he sees the writing on the wall and abandons Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.

Best line: “The word most often used by Republicans to describe the management of the Justice Department under Gonzales is ‘incompetent.’”

Pet peeves on the Capital Crescent Trail

Yesterday, I went on a long bike ride on the Capital Crescent Trail, an 11-mile trail built on the abandoned Georgetown Branch of the B&O Railroad that runs parallel to the Potomac River and C&O Canal. It’s a beautiful trail, well maintained, and quite popular with runners and cyclists alike. It has quite a bit of traffic on the weekend, but that’s okay.

As much as I like the trail, there are some things that annoy me about the trail. Because I have my own forum, I feel I can vent about the things that annoy me. Read the rest of this entry »
