For about a year now, I’ve been playing with the Arduino prototyping platform to learn about embedded programming. After a year, however, I think the time has come to say goodbye to the Arduino and program my microcontrollers directly.

"Snowmageddon" from My Apartment

Looking out over Woodley Road in Washington, DC. At this point, we’ve gotten about 20 inches. A few more inches of snow are yet to come. The media and the blogosphere are calling this thing “Snowmageddon”, a name I really hate.

My car is hidden behind the tree in the foreground. I’m pretty sure I’ll see it again sometime in May.
