I do concur with Sen. Specter but his strong disdain is highly misplaced (his op-ed even has some very vague and misleading information, attempting to disbarage the court). If this is a government of the people, by the people, blah blah blah, it certainly makes sense that the public should know what one of its branches of government is actually doing. Forget the shrouds of mystery--even the early hearings of the Star Chamber were public. I would hope opening the court would further legitimacy of our legal structures with the general public. In addition, I&#039;m sure the records will be appreciated by future historians.</description>
