Election Day + 1: The fight begins
According to today’s Washington Post, President Bush will headline a political fundraiser in support of Maryland Lieutenant Governor Michael Steele. I’d like to point out that this worked miracles for Jerry Kilgore, who is now not the governor-elect for Virginia.
In the interests of full disclosure, I support Benjamin Cardin (D-MD), nine-term Representative for Maryland’s third congressional district. In fact, I’m planning on working for his Senate campaign. The seat being vacated by Senator Paul Sarbanes is too important to the democratic party to leave to chance. This way, I cannot complain about the results.
I can, however, boast the victory when we win in November.
